Item Description: Futaba 3PK 2.4Ghz Spektrum Transmitter Module & Receiver - SPM1004DMS, or Digital Spectrum Modulation, is a form of spread spectrum modulation that has been optimized for the R/C industry. It operates on the 2.4 GHz band and finds any one of 79 channels that is not currently in use. Then it uses that channel until you turn it off. Because of the collision avoidance system built into the module and receiver, if all 79 channels are in use (not likely, but possible at large events) it will hold and scan until a channel becomes available. It will never cause interference in 27 or 75 band radio systems or receive interference from them, and it doesn`t affect currently used timing systems either. The operating range is normally 3000 feet depending on conditions. There is tremendous convenience knowing you can check your car`s radio system anytime and anyplace without getting a frequency pin. You can`t interfere with anyone whether they`re using this system or not.
