We offer for auction a nice little futuristic race car model from around the 1950's. The model is approx. 8" long, it is made from wood & has plastic wheels. I believe these toys came in kit form & had to be assembled & painted. This one was made in the 1950's, not recently, it is well carved & painted. The model is near mint, but t are a couple of very minor paint chips, the worst is to the back edge of the fin. The model was lacquered & this has helped protect the paint over the years.
