Authentic near-mint condition U.S. Navy G-1 leather flight jacket. Large size 40, working zipper, all buttons present, U.S.N. marked. Cuffs, waistband, fleece collar, outer leather and jacket lining all in excellent condition. Working Conmar zipper. Manufactured by Ralph Edwards Sportswear. Dated 1963, this vintage jacket was the type worn by Navy fighter pilots and other Navy aviators during the Viet Nam era. Several people have asked for the measurements, they are as follows: Size: 40 19" - Shoulders (straight across back at sleeve juncture) 21 1/2" - Back between arm pits (jacket zipped, bi-swing not expanded) 21 1/2" - Front between arm pits (jacket zipped, bi-swing not expanded) 24" - Back length (base of collar to bottom of waistband) 23" - Front length (top of zipper to bottom of zipper box) 25" - Sleeve (shoulder seam to end of cuff)
