"Jackie" for Gadco This beautiful doll designed by Bruno Rossellini is "Jackie" , a tribute to Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis. She was designed for The Great American Doll Company based on photos of Jackie Kennedy as a girl. She is made of vinyl with a cloth body. She has very unique joints at the knees and elbows which allow for posing. "Jackie" is wearing a hand smocked white batiste dress with coral and blue accents, and french lace trim. She is also wearing full underwear - lace edged drawers, a petticoat with white laces and hand-knitted socks. Her shoes are of soft lambskin. Included is a reproduction of a necklace that belonged to Mrs. Onassis, gold chain with coral-like beads. She will come with her COA stating she is #4692/5000 ; a black & white photo of Mrs. Onassis as a child, and advertisements & literature about this issue. She has her original box and shipper. I am astounded at the detail in this doll! Please look at the photos and ask questions prior to bidding! LOOK at my other auctions, as I will be listing more dolls this week! THANKS!!
