Galapagos Islands 2 dollars 2008 Galapagos Islands have a status of an autonomous province of Ecuador, but have issued their own coins since very recently. If you collect coins by country this is a new country to add to your collection! It's a scarce Brilliant UNC bimetallic coin with a flightless cormorant bird on it. [inv # 7599] Condition: BU. Shipping & handling: $2.00 within USA, $3.00 abroad. Combined shipping: only $0.25 for this item if shipped within USA, $0.50 if shipped abroad. The cost of shipping for the heaviest item in the order is added first when calculating the combined shipping. Insurance amount is limited to $50 but registered letters are very rarely lost. I'm sorry if your country is red but this is not by my personal choice. The thrid-party insurance company that I use does not insure shipments to these countries, and I can do nothing about that. USPS (US Post Service) will only insure registered mail to these countries, and then only up to about $45. A registered letter costs $12.00 in addition to regular airmail fare.
