This unusual Italian ceramic vase was produced by the master ceramicist Guido Gambone, likely in the late 1950's. It is decorated with a fantastic, abstract pattern in vibrant orange, purple, chartreuse and mustard glazes on top of a white salt glaze. This interesting form is 7" high by 7 3/8" wide by 2 7/8" deep. It is in mint, original condition with no damage or repairs and is signed "Gambone Italy" on the bottom with Gambone's "donkey" mark. It also retains part of a paper label that was likely for export purposes (please see photo of bottom). All sales are final and all descriptions are accurate and honest. Good luck bidding.Buyer pays actual packing and shipping costs. Insurance is optional. |
