For sale is the pictured badge of theGrand Army Of The Republic (GAR)department of Indiana annual encampmentheld in May of 1912 at South Bend, Indiana.The badge is still attached to the original jewelry store card.John Auten was recognized as the first Union soldierkilled from St. Joseph County, Indiana.He is buried in the South Bend City Cemetery.There is also an Auten Road in South Bend named for him.Any questions please ask.Thanks for looking.MAKE ME AN OFFER by !
