GAR Delegate Badge Dept. of New York. Likeness of Department Commander John S. Maxwell. Beautiful condition Brass color with American Flag Motiff. One small spot w white is flaked off Flag bottom right corner. Does not take away. Top Bar has illustration of Soldiers. It says Dept. of NY GAR. States:" Gen. Herkimer at Oriskany. Reverse side shows the GAR Member Badge. 41st Annual Encampment Utica, N.Y. June 19-20 1907. Well made heavy medal. Mfg. by Whitehead & Hoag Newark, N.J. Measures 3 inches top to bottom & 1 & 3/4 across.
