Condition is excellent. are the details: Manufacturer: Winchester Repeating Arms (WRA) Rear ring: Rounded with correct rough file marks DRAWING NUMBER!!! Narrow base Finish: 95 percent or more Wear: Gages excellent on CMP gas cylinder gage Overall condition: Excellent This is a very nice original cylinder. The finish on this gas cylinder is approximately 95 percent (I am very conservative grading used parts); Just a couple of scuffs and burrs. Might be arsenal refinished. I do not know which serial number ranges should fall in but it is definitely a super nice working part to complete your Garand restoration.
