This gorgeous "Honey Bee" was originally created by Gaston Lachaise and is an Alva Museum Replica. It is an authentic copy of the original which is on display at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The bronze bee perches on a cube of black marble. Its art deco design is stylized and its patina resembles 18K gold over bronze. This impressive work of fine art is five inches high. You will love this piece! I purchased this sculpture new in 1975. I will carefully pack it for shipment so it will arrive in the same condition it was sent.
