~Welcome to my auction~ In this listing, I am offering a gathering of primitive handmade star bowl fillers that I have created for your Americana or year round decorating! The stars would look sweet displayed together in your old wood bowl, trencher or basket. They can also be displayed individually.....tucked among your other primitive decorations! The wood box in the pictures is not included in this listing. Three of the five stars are made out of navy ticking....front and back. The other two stars are made out of an antique red and white cutter quilt piece and are backed with osnaburg. The quilt has some wonderful hand quilting lines. The stars have been stuffed very firmly. I stained them with a coffee/vanilla mixture and they have dried to a perfectly prim appearance. I hand stitched a large rusty bell in the center of each star bowl filler. The stars measure about 7" across. Tied to one of the ticking stars, is a large primitive tag with a flag picture on it with the words "The Glorious Fourth" printed in a lower corner. Please contact me with any questions.
