GDW Third World War series, complete. Seller is original owner. Battle for Germany , © 1983, mostly punched, played once ; chits neatly bagged. Southern Front , © 1984, unpunched and unplayed. Arctic Front , © 1985, unpunched and unplayed. Persian Gulf , © 1986, unpunched and unplayed.Photos are of the actual items. This game set is 25 pct played, the rest near-mint, but with shelf wear on all boxes. The lid for Battle for Germany has a slight old-tape stickiness “bracketing” the mushroom cloud art. (Because removing the residue might damage the paper, I decided to live with it.) The lid of this game also has a deeper-than-average compression crease (see photo of inside of lid) but as shown in other photos, the inside damage looks worse than from the outside. Still, IMO, this lid is not choice, for a for-display collector . However, for a player, the lid is totally serviceable and in good condition for the age.Remaining boxes have only minor creasing as befits their age. No tears or splits (in any of the four). There is a slight ding on the upper right-hand edge of the Arctic Front lid (easy to miss). See photos.The boxes have all done their job: box contents are near mint, save that Battle for Germany is mostly punched (and neatly bagged in zip-locks).
