Here is a recent local auction find. In good cosmetic condition and in somewhat working order. Unit is missing the original swing-out side speakers and their latches but the original metal screw-on legs are included and are stored in a “hidden” compartment. I bought a brand new stylus for it as the one that was in there was obviously worn. All the vacuum tubes tested to be good but some capacitors might need to be replaced as the units volume isn't as loud as it should be. Volume at maximum is appropriate for close-by listening in an absolutely quite room. Connected external speakers with standard mono 1/4" plugs and that output isn't any louder than the built-in front speakers. I cleaned the drive motor spindle, rubber roller, and where it drives turntable. First test was with one 12” 33rpm record: record loaded perfectly but plays a hair slow (probably needs further cleaning and/or lubrication); bass, treble, balance, loudness and stereo controls all adjust sound as intended but with some scratchiness; overall sound quality was very good using a very good quality record; front red-jeweled pilot lamp lights up; automatically turned off correctly at end of record. Second test was with one 7" 45rpm record: record loaded correctly but needle dropped at the place for a 10" record; played a bit slow and speed fluctuated some; automatically read more
