Offering this fine General Electric super radio model 7-2887 AM-FM Legondary Super radio designed to receive far distant deep fringe AM stations. Popular with DXRs/people that live way out in the country side.Also for listening in on local talk shows in other cities..This radio received AM stations 2000+ miles away with its large built in 8" ferrite AM antenna rod.Pulled in stations from 8 states from my Phoenix Arizona location.This is one radio to own incase of electrical blackout,comet or the second comming. Runs on 6D cells and from built-in AC cord Excellent HI-FI sound with a 6"woof and 3" tweet Bass & treble controls. These radios have an excellent dependibility track record and rarely break down. This GE was fully tested and is in excellent operational and physical condition
