Up for bids is this great General Electric World Monitor Shortwave Radio model # P991A from 1968, it has the following bands: SW1, SW2, BC, LW, & FM. You will not believe the condition of this radio, its almost like new and the pictures do not do it justice. The radio is covered in two tone brown leattt that is stitched all around. All the stitches are tight and firm. The radio is electric and can also be used with batteries (not included). It comes with the original shortwave listener's log and guide to shortwave radio and it tells you in detail everything this radio does and how to do it. In the back of the radio is a 3 snap pouch that holds the log book and power cord. It also has a brown shoulder strap. Everything on this radio works perfectly. The FM antenna stands about 26 inches high and the SW antenna stands about 4 feet high. If you collect shortwave radios, this is the one to have, the condition is mint.
