This 6'11" grand piano has had extensive work carried out on the casework and action and is in very good condition. It is an ex hire piano and was recently played by Rick Wakeman at a local concert at carnglaze Caverns http://www.musicality.tv/music/rick-wakeman/videos/67 see photo 5 taken in rehearsal. The piano has a great very even tone and excellent bass, as good as any other German piano of the era. It has new hammers (fitted in january this year) and has been highly regulated making the touch very responsive. The case has been refinished and is in good condition other than a couple of small marks. It has 1 slightly chipped key pictured in photo 8, other than that the keyboard is perfect. Top C is not working but could be repaired at minor cost. It has a warm tone more like a Bluthner than a bright Yamaha, and is a joy to play. The maker is not so well known outside of the trade but as with all German pre war pianos very well made and of very high quality. Delivery can be arranged in Cornwall/Devon at buyers expense.
