GEM HIDDENITE SPODUMENE , Hiddenite, Alexander County, North Carolina. A superb, rare, old-time collection of well-terminated, small, gem crystals in a Riker-mount. I have seen many of the recently mined specimens and I am sorry to say that the color simply does not compare to the best of these especially when one considers how small the crystals are. They range in length from 1/4 to 3/4 inches and t are 15 of them. I bought them from Alex Mann in 2002 and he acquired them before 1950. * * * * * * * * * Buyer is responsible for shipping and/or insurance charges. I ship by United Parcel Service (UPS) Second Day Air for which a street address is required. I ask for a flat $7.00 shipping fee in most cases, even though my shipping costs are almost always more than that. New York State residents must pay appropriate sales tax. * * * * * * * * * I accept credit card payments through PayPal, money orders or personal checks.
