These smocks are quality garments, made from a special cotton/poly blend designed to offer great protection against the wind and quick drying properties these latest issue PCS windproof smocks are great pieces of kit. Like the original Royal Marine windproof smocks that they are descendants of they feature a wired hood that can be positioned around the wearers face to give maximum protection against the elements. Smock features Velcro cuffs, four large front bellows pockets with a patch pocket on the left breast bellows pocket and two fleece lined slash pockets behind the lower bellows pockets. There are two zipped breast map pockets, large Velcro pockets with Velcro patches on each sleeve with insignia plates and the inside of the smock is half lined in mesh. The official title on the label for this jacket is "SMOCK, COMBAT, WINDPROOF, MTP", and the NSN is given as 8415-99.
