This auction is for an authentic, autographed 8x10 glossy photo of the famous Apollo/NASA director Eugene Kranz.. Mr. Kranz is most famous for his role in directing the successful mission control team efforts to save the crew of Apollo 13 which later became the subject of a major motion picture. Mr. Kranz has been the subject of movies, documentaies, and books. He is the recipient of the Presidential Medal Of Freedom. He was also the flight director for Apollo 11 during the moment the lunar modul "Eagle" landed on the moon july 20 1969 and continued as director through to the last Apollo mission 17. He was played by Ed Harris in the movie "Apollo 13" and played by Dan Butler in the HBO miniseries "From The Earth To The Moon.
