Up for auction is this original General Electric model #75427 three speed electric fan that was manufactured in the early 1920's and is still running strong today. Many collectors have asked me for fans that are in not restored condition, and this one is certainly that. Rescued from a dumpster during a house clean out, this old soldier still runs and oscillates well on all three speeds. Specifics: Fan stands 17 inches tall; cage is 13 inches in diameter. Blades are 5 inches long. Has base angle adjustment, oscillating capability. Brass blades, screws, and oscillating mechanism. Black steel cage. GE motor in yoke assembly. This fan is double signed, with the iconic G.E. symbol on the front of the cage, and on the brass nameplate, located under the power switch, which reads "Type: AOU; OFF, HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW; Volts-110; Form: ABI; No: D13310; Cat: 754233; Spec: 72058; GEN. ELECTRIC Co. U.S.A.; Cycles: 60" The base, motor housing, and gear housing are constructed of rugged cast iron. A switch on the base provides a choice of off and three different speeds. This fan runs well, and has no operating issues, but should be rewired. I have not polished or cleaned it in any way. Fan offered as found - no returns... I buy
