A rare high grade solid rose gold 1920s period officers wristwatch Presented in excellent condition. The top quality solid 9ct rose gold double hinged case is in very good condition. The case is fully hallmarked for Glasgow 1926 and shows 375 for 9ct gold. The case measures 30mm in diameter excluding the winding crown. The lugs are fixed and accept a 12mm strap which is part of a 28mm width military strap.The original silver textured dial is in excellent good condition. The dial has large black Roman numerals and a black outer minute track. Period original blue steel hands and the sub-seconds are in the six position.The high grade and adjusted Swiss made 16 jewel movement is in very good condition, the movement jewels are set in gold chatons and the center wheel is jeweled. The watch winds and sets smoothly. Keeping good time over a 24hr period. The movement is signed 'ELINA SWISS MADE 16 JEWELS 3 ADJTS'.
