Hi. I have a Genuine Hailware 'SHELL' glass petrol pump globe for sale (1960's) Solid opaline multiple glazed glass with raised red lettering. 'HAILWARE BRITISH MADE' hallmark present underside. 'PROPERTY OF SHELL-MEX & B.P. LTD. RETURNABLE ON DEMAND' hallmark present inside rim. The red writing has been restored with berry red enamel paint, but can safely be removed if wished without damaging the underlying colouring or surface. No chips, repairs, staining, scratches, cracks or any other damage anywhere, only some VERY minor nibbling on one side of the base under the rubber rim as shown in the pictures. Overall excellent condition. Both sides of the globe can be seen in the pictures. Dimensions: 44cm (17.5") max width, 44cm (17.5") max height, 18cm (7") rim diameter and max depth. Weight approx 2.5kg (5.5lbs) New 5m (16ft) light fitting and rubber base included. This can be held for collection once payment is recieved, or personally delivered with petrol costs. If a courier is required (UK only) i will pack this in bubblewrap inside a solid pvc 'tuffcrate', and put this crate inside another crate, with packing inbetween the two. It will then be double wrapped with a tough pvc outer layer.
