GENUINE OLD IRISH CHEMIST SHOP ADVERTISING CARD - this card is advertising Calverts Headache & Neuralgia Powders, prepared by Geo R Calvert ( late Grattan & Co) of Ballyclare. Ballyclare is a small town in Co Antrim in N Ireland. Ad measures 32 cm high by 25.5 cm wide so is a good size. There are 9 spaces on the card where the powders would have been affixed and they sold for 2d each. The card claims they could cure Headache, Neuralgia, Toothache Colds and All Nerve Pain. Quite a boast as there is still no certain cure for a cold! Card in decent condition for age but not perfect, all corners slightly turned up and some slight discolouration VERY SPECIAL OFFER for UK & Ireland. You CAN add unlimited old labels to this order and pay no extra postage on them ! Just send a message to reserve the labels you want then BUY this card ad so you DONT lose them! ( labels only, sorry no packaging or card ads due to weight!) UK & IRELAND only offer! Happy to post this card out at £3 2nd class UK but only if paying with cheque, po or money order. If paying via paypal p&p charge has to be £4 as paypal insists on tracking mail which means it has to go signed for post.
