The bear is a Steiff button in Ear (Knopf im Ohr) made in Germany . The box that the bear comes in is marked, "Teddy Bear 1912 Black 40 Replica 1992 Limited Edition of 7,000 pcs. Margarete Steiff Giengen-Brenz Genuine Mohair" The bear comes with it's original certificate of authenticity declaring that it is number 01013 of 7000 . The bear has a tag attached to it s chest that reads "Teddybar 1912 Replica 1992" and a tag attached to the ear with a button th at reads "Made in Germany by Steiff K nopf Im Ohr" on one side and "L. ED . of 7000 pcs . Teddy b. 40 01013" The bear is roughly 15.25 inches tall. The bear makes a short "mr eh" sounding noise when it is moved about. The tag on the chest looks a little beat up and the box has seen better days but the bear itself looks to be in pretty good condition. All the items I sell are pre-owne d and may have wear from age , use, and storage. I am no expert though so I have not graded this item but I have taken pictures so you can see the condition and make your own judgments. This is an excellent addition to any collection.
