Pair of genuine antique (c.1880) small Victorian cufflinks, measuring approximately 17mm across and 21mm top to bottom. They are highly likely to be jet (possibly Whitby) as they came from a much larger collection of genuine Whitby Jet pieces (most of which I sold to Hamonds'). I only came across these after having the collection assessed so I cannot claim that these are definitely jet, but it is very likely. They are carved with a lovely flower design and mounted on gold-coloured metal inscribed 'Readings Patent' and are in really good condition for their age. They are also in full working order (see photos). Apologies for the quality of the photos, please contact me if you need more information. I was having lighting problems and there are some reflections present on the pictures of their fronts. I am also selling a number of other pairs of Victorian cufflinks, please take a look.
