Please let us know if you have any questions.About This Print:Cover art for Patrick O'Brian's Aubrey-Maturin series book. Treason's Harbour depicts a quiet evening in Grand Harbor Malta. Capt Aubrey's beloved H.M.S. Surprise is in the foreground as a cutter leaves the dock. Standing guard at Surprise's stemhead is the Marine sentry, ready with loaded musket, to shoot any deserters. In the background is a British 74 gun warship, the standard battleship of the day. To the left of Surprise is a Genoese Barque being towed in the calm evening.Artist's Biography:From 1966 - 1970, Geoff Hunt studied graphic design at Kingston and Epsom Schools of Art. After two years in advertising, he became a freelance artist and designer. He was art editor of the Warship Journal from 1977 - 1979, and typographer/designer on many books on marine subjects.
