WE APPRECIATE SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY ~ PLEASE ~ NO BIDS ACCEPTED FROM PEOPLE WITH (0) FEEDBACK FABULOUS GEOMETRIC ART DECO SHERRY TOPAZ CZECH GLASS NECKLACE 17" long, Large emerald and princess cut focal stones This dramatic sherry colored topaz Czech glass Art Deco necklace consists of a gold gilt over brass link chain made of round faceted topaz glass beads. Each bead is capped on both ends with gilt brass filigree. The focal point of the necklace is the superb and unusual cluster of geometric cut and faceted glass pieces all in excellent condition. In the center is a large square princess cut sherry topaz glass piece, prong set in a gilt brass bezel. Flanking the center piece on either side are two emerald cut topaz glass pieces and on the bottom is a pentagonal faceted topaz glass piece, all prong set. All the glass in the necklace is crystal clear and in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or internal defects. The warm sherry coloring is ideal for wearing with almost anything you own and looks beautiful against the skin. See the photos as an example. Necklaces like these are rare and hard to come by. Their highly stylized form speaks volumes of the Art Deco design era from which they hail. The necklace measures 17" long from end to end and hangs 9 7/8" long from the back of the neck to the bottom of the necklace. The focal measures 1 ½" wide by 1 ¾" tall. The necklace weighs 21.7 grams and is in excellent vintage condition. Ca 1920's. If you would like to have an extender for the necklace to make it longer, please let me know at the time you are invoiced and I will include one made of chain that will coordinate with your necklace.
