This auction comes complete with the doll in the original box, the original shipping box, the letter from Effanbee President Stanley Wahlberg (1996), the original full page advertisement from where I originally reserved the doll, and the certificate of authenticity which states the following information: "George Burns by Effanbee Doll Company. Born January 20th, 1896, he has entertained America on the stage, in films, on radio and television, for most of the 20th century. Effanbee Doll Company is proud to present this tribute to an America Legend Production of this doll is strictly limited to the George Burns Centennial Year - 1996" The advertisement (in left on photo) provides the history for George Burns: vaudeville state to radio to TV.
