This is a George Herron model # 7 hunter. Number 25 on tang and sheath. Ordered in 1979 and delivered in 1986. Never used. And knife and sheath were stored separately. We can say in excellent condition and a very beautiful knife. The handle is in antique ivory. I need to mention that t is a very tiny , really tiny split of less than an 1/8" in the ivory near the rivit. It is not noticable unless you look for it. It was t when it arrived from Mr. Herron. It has not changed since it arrived, and I think it is just the nature of ivory. The hilt is smooth and beautiful. Blade length is 3 3/4" long from hilt. The knife's over-all length is 8". I am selling this knife for a friend who loved to collect the master knife makers of the U. S. A. This is your chance to own one of the greats! If you have any questions please ask.
