George Overbury "Pop" Hart (American, 1868 1933), "Oyster Boats, Bayou St. John", 1917, watercolor and graphite on paper, signed, dated and inscribed "New Orleans" twice lower right, inscribed "I worked 10 days sketching the oyster boats. There are still some old houses. (Jules) Pascin liked this one, he was with me in New Orleans" lower center, "The Downtown Galleries, New York City" and "Spanierman Gallery, New York" labels en verso, 14 in. x 17 1/2 in., framed.
