A print featuring a portrait of the 1977 Trail Sled Dog Race champion with two dogs by Alaskan artist George Rodgers, signed, numbered 263/1049, comes with an informational card, loose on matting with plastic wrap, plastic wrap is ripped in a couple of spots (see photos for details). Measures 18" x 14.5".***This item comes directly from the collection of prominent Alaskan resident Mr. Leo Rasmussen; who amongst many other things served as longtime mayor of Nome, AK, and was involved in the creation of the Iditarod dog sled race.
