George Shreve & Co Sterling Arts & Crafts Large Bowl is an Exceptional Arts & Crafts Sterling Silver Large Bowl with Gilt Interior made by the Highly Sought After GEORGE C. SHREVE & CO and in Excellent Condition! It is fully marked on the bottom with SAN FRANCISCO GEO. C. SHREVE & Co. STERLING along with their Bumble Bee Trademark! What a Superb example of their master craftsmanship. It is a truly wonderful bowl in person! It has a pinched, paneled rim and a graduated step down of the bowl to the base. it is engraved in the center bottom with the initials P L in a Beautiful Period Fancy Script Lettering! The interior retains the original Gilt Gold decoration in excellent condition. It is a large bowl and would be right at home with you Arts & Crafts Decor, along side or on that wonderful piece of Stickley or Roycroft.It measures 7 1/2' across and sits 2 3/4" tall and weighs 8.2 ounces.This will make a wonderful addition to any Fine Antique Silver Collection!
