George Tuska Avengers vs. Dr. Doom Commissioned Illustration Original Art (c. 1990s). Tuska, a creator of the Luke Cage heroic franchise (currently seen on Netflix), delivered this Avengers commission outside his involvement with Marvel Comics. This delicately tinted combination of pulp-style pen-and-ink illustration with Impressionist-like watercolor flourishes places Dr. Doom as the dominant figure in an attack from "Cap's Kooky Quartet"... Quicksilver, Hawkeye, the Scarlet Witch, and Captain America. A brilliant composition from one of the more versatile artists of the Golden Age-Silver Age-Bronze Age periods of comics. Pen-and-ink, felt marker, and watercolor over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15". In Excellent condition. Grade: 0, Service: Uncertified, Service No.: 1380850
