CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY SWORD 586 OF 1000Blade Length 28"Total Length 34 1/2" The 1,000 swords were available for purchase directly from the U.S. Bicentennial Society, on a first- come, first- served basis, for $ 925.00. By 1976, one of these swords was sold at an auction house for $2,300.00. The white piece on the handle is a protective spacer to keep the sword from being scratched by the holder. This sword also comes with all original paperwork. From receipt to care papers, authenticity papers, borchure, letters from artist , everything in mint condition. This was originally owned by an ex military captain and was so well taken care of and paperwork organized. Quite possibly be the only one with this much paperwork that comes with it , sure to make it even more valuable. Not a bad investment! You can get this for much less, and be part of an elite group.
