A wonderful collectors piece, large English Sterling silver sugar sifter made by prolific silversmith makers of the time, John, Henry & Charles Lias of London during the Georgian era of 1824 . Fiddle end, sleek neck leading down to pierced starburst bowl. Finished in a wonderful gold gilding to the bowl, hallmarks to the reverse which are crisp and clear. This wonderful antique sifter has the benefit of being un-monogrammed or personalisation. Weighing at a nice 47gms of silver, please see photos, hard to find duty marks for King George IV as he only reigned for ten years. Would grace any collection and would make a great gift.
