For auction we have this stunning and rare Scottishsilver mounted horn and polished agate snuff mull by W.Jamieson of Aberdeen c.1800. The solid silver mounts are beautifully engraved with thistles surrounding the polished agate insert, and there is a vacant oval cartouche to the front. The inside of the lid is stamped ‘WJ’ and ‘AB’. The five section hinge is in perfect working order and the lid closes tightly. The snuff mull is in fantastic condition and this is one of the best snuff mull’s I have seen in a very long time. The snuff mull measures 3 inches from top to bottom and the opening to the top measures 1 ¾ inches wide. All items are as described. The majority of my items are antique, there may be signs of wear and tear, however I will do my best to mention all or any imperfections. Payment is to be made within 3 days of auction end. Postage will be made within three working days of cleared payment.
