A fine lead crystal hand blown cut glass Georgian tea caddy sugar bowl of outstanding quality, measuring 4.5 inches high by 4.25 inches across, 11 x 11 cms. Circa 1820. The bowl is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or damage. This sugar bowl has a delicate cut banding as decoration and rim edging. These bowls are commonly called mixing bowls but it is documented and been proven that they were used for sugar and never mixing the two types of tea commonly kept in the larger caddies of the period. Reference 44. Both UK and overseas delivery quotes include insurance. Far East shipping cost to be quoted. This is being sold with no reserve, just bid and you can buy!
