GERMAN 2WW WEHRMACHT COMBAT HELMET SHELL from the UKRAINE. A Wehrmacht 2WW combat helmet shell that is in a dug up condition state, I purchased this while in the Ukraine many years ago, it looks like it has traces of its original green/khaki paint to certain areas & also white paint to the outside, as they often were painted by the troops on the Eastern front because of the snowy winters (see photos). It has a fracture to the top of the helmet as well as a jagged (corrosion) hole to the top left side, both possibly caused by an explosion near the helmet, it has the turned over edge as in the earlier pattern German helmets (M35 or M40 type), as well as rivet holes to both sides (see photos). The helmet is what it is, as I said earlier in a dug up condition state, but still a VERY NICE COLLECTABLE & INTERESTING RELIC from the eastern front and a part of WW2 history.
