Soligen-Germany Anton Wingen Jr 3 Piece Carving Set Stag Handles This stag handled carving set is professionally crafted with genuine stag handles with pommel caps on the ends and stainless steel blade. Made by Anton Wingen Jr. Solingen, Germany. Made in the 1940's. The set includes a 12 5/8" long carving knife, an 11 3/8" long carving fork and a 13" long knife sharpening steel tool. The set comes in the original green satin-lined box with the original price sticker on it. The flat portion of the knife and fork are etched, showing wildlife scenes. The knife is marked with "Anton Wingen Jr Solingen-Germany Rostrei beside the logo head and Othello. The fork has " A Wingen Jr Germany Soligen Rust Free" and the Sharpening Steel shows "Antone Wigen Jr Solingen-Germany". The stage handles are in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or splits. The knife shows light usage near the sharp blade. The blade appears straight. The fork is also in excellent shape with some light usage. The box is in rough shape and is difficult to close completely due to slight warpage.
