German Army Officer Leather Boots Size 285 / 10.5 / Y1 DEUTSCHE BUNDESWEHR.. GERMAN ARMY OFFICER PARADE BOOTS.. Black Leather.. This pair..is Mondo Point size 285..which is a US size 10.5.. Original equipment...I call them army officer boots..actually..they could be any branch.. Condition: These boots are used.. in very good condition..see more information..on the condition..in the bottom of this listing..These boots are from the December 2000..as the numbers indicate..They are bottom heavy..built like a brick house.. As with any used boot..not every wrinkle or ding..can be completely eliminated..just treated..fixed.. and improved.. In some cases..very little to fix..I would recommend boot trees.. to help keep the leather tight..foam rubber works pretty well too..There are no rips or tears..to the inside liners..good shape..The inside liner.. to these boots.. is tan leather.There are canvas like..black..heavy duty pull up straps..two.. to each boot.. Photos: The actual boots you get, are in the photos..The specific characteristics of each pair.. is found at the bottom of each listing.. Price: These are priced between 50 % to 60 %.. of new boots..of the same type.. Reconditioning & upgrading: Whether the boots are new..unissued or lightly used..I treat them in several steps..They are throuhly cleaned and get a little southern Californian. . sun bath. Then the leather uppers are improved.. I upgrade them.. to a smart, polished look..so they can be worn right out of the box..one less cleaning & polishing project for you. Inside of the boots: Each boot is inspected to see if the insoles.. are intact..If they need replacing or are missing..they are replaced..Limited inside cleaning: the insoles are brushed.. to remove anything.. that will come out and the inside leather.. is gently rubbed..with a clean..soft fabric...If you want to clean the inside leather more.. try a leather cleaner..in a small area first.. to see how it goes..then do the rest..If I get into extensive.. interior cleaning projects..the price of the boots..goes up accordingly..so I don't..but to be clear..nothing significantly dirty.. gets past me..or the boots are not listed.. No boots coming in with significant wear or in immediate need of proffessional repair..are offered.. If that happens..that's when I get on the phone and have a cranky conversation, with my supplier. .because the condition for resale..must be VG..serviceable condition.. These German officer parade boots (Wachbataillon): are 15.75" high..12.55" long..the leather is thicker and softer..than the EM jack boots.. The WW2 Look: They look very similar.. to at least one type..of WW2 German Army officer or officers of other branches.. boots..worn..most likely.. the walking out parade type.. Nice for WW2 reenactors or collectors. These are not bargain basement boots..are extremely well made and will last a long time.. with proper care.. A lot of boot.. for the money..in my opinion..
