The original field gray and decals of the M-42 didn't last long in the field, as troops adjusted to local conditions by camouflaging their helmets. Most interestingly, the helmet boasts a white snow camouflage painted exterior finish, and was almost certainly worn in the Battle of the Bulge. It's named inside to a soldier "Dahn" in classic German lettering, and the name is marked in white paint that matches the exterior. It features the distinctive M-42 unrolled edge, and is complete with the original liner and chinstraps metal interior mounts. We guarantee this helmet to be 100% original from read more
