I'm selling one Mohr & Steyer antique German hunting sword with a small knife. This includes the leather and brass scabbard which I'm told once had a gold coating. It also includes the portepee knot.19â sword with a 14â blade 8â dagger, 4â bladeThe sword has the markings: "Mohr & Steyer, Berlin" on the back edge of the sword up near the handle.According to Bezdek's German Swords and Swordmakers , Mohr and Speyer were a retailer in Berlin from 1852-1867. Bezdek notes that the firm sold swords to Switzerland.I've inherited this beautiful set, but have no interest in keeping it.
