I am thinning my collection. This mace is most likely German, but possibly Italian in origin. It is heavy and solid from a time period when heavy armor was common. The cloth covered handle is most likely made of wood, as it is not magnetic. Two of the eight flanges have broken tips, see picture eight, but they do not detract from the overall image of the mace. It is in otherwise good condition. Please ask all questions before the close of the auction and bid responsibly. Do your research before bidding, an informed bidder is a happy bidder. Thank you. I have a rare Italian cinquedea for sale at this time as well.
