Up for bid is an original WW2 German 98k 84/98 bayonet with non matching scabbard in very good condition. Its 9 and 29/32 inch blade is marked G2127 on one side and cLc44 on the other side.Blade has never been sharpened. Please see photos below for details. Blade maintains 90% of its original blued finish, has scabbard wear, and has no oxidation spots. waffen proofs are on the flash guard, double stamped on the pommel, and on the scabbard tip. Handle steel maintains 80% of its bluing and has oxidation spots. Pommel press-stud functions well. Wood grips, affixed with two slotted washer screws, have no cracks, and have no scratches. scabbard maintains 80% of its bluing, has one dent, and has oxidation spots
