Original Luftwaffe deck clock from Dornier bomber aircraft. It is a Kienzle 8 days clock, winded by turning front bezel, setting time is done by the same bezel, but a little side lever has to be pushed aside and hold first. It also have, typical for aircrafts from WWII "memorandum" red arrow (visible on picture between 2 and 3 o'clock), which can be set at any position on dial, to mark arrival at bombing site,for example. It is marked: Dial: KIENZLE, 8 TAGE, FL 22602 , and stamped number 9576 (that's number of airplane it was monted) Back: "inftange....t" "am: 6 38 7 43" -all the markings are stamped; those might be dates of services' Diameter of dial 3.5 inches. Clock was intentionally restored on mechanical side only - to keep it authentic, so the dial case and crystal was cleaned from dirt and dust only, to keep it original. It runs very good and since I have 30+years of experience as watch maker - tfore, buyer will have 12 months Guarantee for this clock.
