This is a german Navy great coat that is likely approaching 74 years old. The leather is in perfect condition without flaws. It is very thick heavy leather and is not dried out or stiff. It has the original metal buttons that say Kriegsmarine 1940 (with an M inside a square) on the rear. It has the "M" Kriegsmarine stamp and a German military stamp and serial number inside. Lining is a cloth that looks and feel like suede and is in good condition. It has a zippered holster pocket under the lapel. Measures about 18.5 to 19 inches across the back, shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Sleeves are about 25" from shoulder to cuff. 50" from top to bottom. I love the coat but it is too small for me across the shoulders. I have a lot of old leather coats and this one is in amazing condition and has clearly been cared for for many years.
