Howdy, This is a floorplate for the triggerguard for the mauser 98k. the markings said byf42 on the receiver. on the inside of the floorplate is the "Z" inspection proof seen on mauser-obendorf item's as well. This one was removed as part of a sporter project and is now up for sale. The finish remain's fully intact. Great original part.
