This is a copy of the German Navy HighOfficers visor hat. ( Kapitain, Commander, Leutnant Commander) It is made of white cotton top, blue satin like lineing, black band, with wool covered visor with large gold oak leaves of higher officer, plastic name holder. They do not have chin straps or side buttons ( these are on the way) . These are the type destroyer commanders wore or Crusier, battleship - any large ship- commanders of any large ship with a higher rank officer in command.
