This is a beautiful large German porcelain match figural holder/striker made in the late 1800's. It depicts a young lady getting water at a well. She is dressed in a Victorian dress and has a lovely face with blonde curly hair. It is a large piece measuring 7 3/4 inches tall by 5 inches wide and has three holders. The striker is to the back side. This is not marked, but it is definitely German and looks like either a Conta & Boehme piece or perhaps Galluba and Hoffman. No major damage, just age wear. A very nice display and quite rare to find! ~Please take a look at my other beautiful pieces listed this week! I am happy to combine shipping and take great care in packing!~
