From a Miniature Bottle Collector's Estate:An old GERMAN S&Vater CAMEL CROSSING THE DESERT 'A CAMEL CAN GO EIGHT DAYS WITHOUT A DRINK! WHO WANTS TO BE A CAMEL?' bottle in great paint on one side and the old honey brown woodgrain glaze on the back - from Schafer & Vater Pottery, Germany. This bottle is about 4 3/4" high with it's original stopper and 'Made In Germany' stamp on the base. Notice the great pine-knot detail in the woodgrain back!This old ceramic porcelain bottle/decanter/flask is in Excellent condition with no chips, mends or cracks and only rubbing wear to the border around the front picture and text area and white glaze miss spots on the stopper. There is a black 'MADE IN GERMANY' stamp and no other marks on the base that I can see.See our list for other neat items!
